This autumn “TIRA” corporation took part in a collaboration project of “Saint-Petersburg TV” and Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations of Saint Petersburg.
Within the framework of the program, corporation staff conducted open lessons in schools of Vasileostrovski district telling students about the corporation, modern technologies and development of radio industry.
On October 22, students were shown around “TIRA” corporation premises. They visited the museum, learned about establishment of radio engineering and about the most significant events in the company’s history. They also took a tour around production facilities, where specialists demonstrated workbenches’ operation and ready-to-use radio equipment.
This initiative will be part of a TV broadcast in order to provide career guidance for senior school students.
